Overview
This policy explains how Fileuno handles information when you use the app. It applies only to Fileuno for iOS and not to other apps or websites operated by Batuhan Tomo.
Fileuno does not require an account and does not operate a backend that receives your document contents. Advertising services may process limited device and usage information as described below. Apple and RevenueCat process purchase information if you choose the optional ad-free purchase.
Documents and local data
Photos and PDF documents you select are processed on your device. Fileuno does not upload the contents of those files to Fileuno servers or advertising providers.
Generated PDFs and processing history may be stored in Fileuno’s local app container so you can access recent work. Files you export, save, or share are also stored wherever you choose to place them.
Advertising and consent
Fileuno uses Google Mobile Ads to show interstitial ads at natural transitions after successful PDF tasks. The PDF is created and added to local history before an ad is attempted, and at least five minutes must pass between presentations. An unavailable or failed ad never blocks the PDF result. Document contents are never used for advertising or ad targeting.
Depending on your region, choices, device settings, and applicable law, Google’s services may process information such as your IP address, device or app identifiers including the advertising identifier when authorized, coarse location derived from IP, ad interactions, advertising data, performance and diagnostic information, and consent status. This information may be used for advertising, personalization, frequency limits, reporting, security, and fraud prevention.
Where required in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google’s certified User Messaging Platform form is completed before Fileuno requests an ad. Personalized ads are eligible only when the applicable Google choices and Apple’s separate tracking permission both allow them. Refusal, partial consent, ATT denial or restriction, an error, or an uncertain state falls back to non-personalized, limited, or no-ad delivery. These choices never make a PDF result unavailable.
Purchases and ad-free access
Fileuno offers an optional, one-time non-consumable purchase that removes advertising. Apple processes the payment. RevenueCat validates the purchase, restores it on devices using the same Apple Account, and keeps the ad-free entitlement available while providing purchase analytics.
Once the ad-free entitlement is known to be active, Fileuno does not initialize, preload, or display Google ads and does not present unnecessary Google consent or Apple tracking prompts.
RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and purchase history for app functionality and purchase analytics. Fileuno does not provide RevenueCat with your photos, PDFs, file names, contacts, or a Fileuno account. Purchase information is not used by Fileuno for tracking or third-party advertising.
Device permissions
Fileuno may request camera access when you scan a document and photo library access when you select or save images. These permissions are used only when you choose the related feature. You can manage them in iOS Settings at any time.
For free users, Fileuno may request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission at the first natural ad-supported transition, after any required Google form is complete. Granting it allows an advertising identifier to be used for personalized ads and ad measurement. Denying it does not limit any PDF feature. You can change the permission in iOS Settings.
Retention and deletion
Fileuno-managed history and generated files remain on your device until you clear local history or remove the app. Deleting Fileuno removes the remaining data in its app container.
Files you previously saved or shared outside Fileuno must be deleted from their destination separately. Information handled independently by Google, Apple, and RevenueCat is subject to each provider’s own retention and deletion practices.
