Before playback

  • Disconnect headphones, Bluetooth, AirPlay, and other audio routes.
  • Place the iPhone speaker-side down on a dry, lint-free surface.
  • Begin at a moderate system volume and stop if sound distorts.
  • Do not charge a visibly wet device; follow Apple’s liquid-exposure guidance.
  • Seek qualified service after serious exposure or for persistent problems.

SonicDrip may help move moisture near the speaker grille, but it does not detect water, guarantee removal, waterproof the phone, or repair damage.

03

Playback issues

SonicDrip intentionally refuses to start when an external audio route is active. Disconnect the route, return to the app, and try again. The app also stops after phone or Siri interruptions, route changes, media resets, backgrounding, or termination; tap the control again only when it is safe to resume.

The basic Speaker Check plays a short output tone. It does not use the microphone and cannot diagnose the speaker or report whether moisture remains.

04

Pro purchases

Prices and final terms come from the App Store. If a purchase does not appear, use Restore Purchases in SonicDrip Settings with the Apple ID that made the purchase. Use Manage Subscription to review an active subscription through RevenueCat Customer Center or Apple’s subscription page.

A pending purchase may require approval from Apple or a family organizer. Do not make repeated purchases while a transaction is pending. If products are temporarily unavailable, the free Quick Clean and basic Speaker Check remain usable.

05

Ads and privacy choices

Free users may see one separated adaptive banner during an active Quick Clean session or in eligible idle and browse areas of Modes and Speaker Check. The banner is removed during speaker-test playback and whenever its placement is no longer eligible. An interstitial may appear only after a completed routine, with at least five minutes between presentations. SonicDrip does not use rewarded ads, app-open ads, or temporary ad-based Pro unlocks. Active Pro users receive no ads.

Ad availability varies by region, connection, provider eligibility, and inventory. Personalized ads are eligible only after any required Google UMP choices and Apple tracking authorization permit them. Refusal, denial, restriction, an unavailable form, or an uncertain state falls back to non-personalized, limited, technical, or no-ad delivery without blocking a core feature. When Google requires ongoing privacy options, Privacy choices in Settings reopens the actual Google form. Apple's tracking permission can be changed separately in iOS Settings.

What to include

To help reproduce a problem, include:

  • Your iPhone model and iOS version.
  • The SonicDrip version shown in Settings.
  • The routine or speaker check you selected.
  • The exact error message and whether an external route was connected.
  • A screenshot with personal information removed, if useful.

Local data

Language, safety acknowledgement, routine count, custom duration, presets, ad pacing, and a limited entitlement cache stay in the app’s local container. Deleting SonicDrip removes this app-controlled data. Apple, RevenueCat, and Google retain provider-controlled records under their own policies and legal obligations.
