Overview
This policy explains how Tempo Aura handles information when you use the app. It applies only to Tempo Aura for iOS and not to other Rekl0w products or websites.
Tempo Aura does not require an account and does not operate a backend that receives your focus history. Advertising and purchase-validation services may process limited information as described below.
Local app data
Tempo Aura stores timer durations, app preferences, notification choices, and completed focus and break sessions locally on your device. Session history is used to calculate daily totals, streaks, weekly progress, and the history shown inside the app.
Tempo Aura does not upload this information to Tempo Aura servers, sell it, or use it for advertising. Current timer information may be shared locally with the bundled widget and Live Activity through Apple system features so they can display timer status.
Advertising and consent
Tempo Aura uses Google Mobile Ads to show interstitial ads at natural transitions after completed focus sessions. An ad is eligible after every second completed focus session and only when at least five minutes have passed since the previous presentation. Ads are not shown during onboarding, while a timer is active, in Settings, widgets, Live Activities, or notifications. An unavailable ad never blocks the timer, history, or statistics. Tempo Aura never uses your focus history for ad targeting.
Depending on your region, choices, device settings, and applicable law, Google's services may process information such as your IP address, device or app identifiers, general location derived from IP, ad interactions, advertising data, crash logs, performance information, diagnostics, and consent status. This information may be used for advertising selection and measurement, frequency limits, reporting, security, and fraud prevention.
Where required in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Tempo Aura uses Google's certified consent platform before requesting ads. If those choices permit personalized advertising, Tempo Aura may then request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission. Personalized advertising and cross-company advertising measurement are enabled only when the applicable Google choices and Apple permission both allow them. A refusal, restriction, unavailable form, or uncertain state explicitly falls back to non-personalized, limited, technical, or no-ad delivery and never limits the timer.
Google's regional form and Apple's system tracking permission are separate controls. When Google requires a privacy options entry point, Tempo Aura shows it in Settings so choices can be reviewed or withdrawn. Apple tracking permission remains controllable in iOS Settings. Tempo Aura Plus removes ads and prevents unnecessary advertising requests.
Purchases and Tempo Aura Plus
Tempo Aura Plus is an optional, one-time non-consumable purchase that permanently removes advertising for the purchasing Apple account. A previous purchase can be restored through the Plus screen. All timer, history, statistics, widget, Live Activity, and notification features remain usable without Plus.
Apple processes the payment and does not provide Tempo Aura with card or bank details. RevenueCat validates and restores the entitlement using an automatically generated anonymous app user ID. RevenueCat may process the product identifier, purchase history, transaction or receipt information, entitlement status, storefront, currency, and related validation data for app functionality, purchase analytics, fraud prevention, and restoration. Tempo Aura does not send RevenueCat your name, email address, account profile, focus history, or advertising identifier.
Notifications and system features
If you enable notifications, Tempo Aura schedules local alerts on your device when a focus or break timer finishes. Tempo Aura does not use these alerts for advertising and does not require remote push notifications.
Widgets and Live Activities display timer information through Apple's on-device system frameworks. You can disable notifications in Tempo Aura or iOS Settings and remove widgets or Live Activities through iOS controls.
Retention and deletion
Completed sessions remain on your device until you clear the session history. Timer settings and preferences remain until you change them or delete Tempo Aura. Removing the app deletes the remaining data in its local app container.
Information handled independently by Google, Apple, and RevenueCat is subject to each provider's retention and deletion practices. Tempo Aura caches only the current Plus entitlement status on the device so ads stay disabled between launches and refreshes it through RevenueCat. Tempo Aura does not hold a server-side copy of your focus history, so there is no Tempo Aura account or cloud record to delete.
Your privacy choices
You can control your information by:
- Reviewing this Privacy Policy from Tempo Aura Settings; a separate advertising privacy-options control appears only when Google reports that one is required.
- Allowing, refusing, or later withdrawing regional advertising choices through Google's form when it applies.
- Allowing or refusing Apple tracking permission and changing it later in iOS Settings.
- Buying Tempo Aura Plus to remove ads or restoring a previous purchase.
- Turning notifications on or off in Tempo Aura or iOS Settings.
- Clearing completed sessions from the History screen.
- Removing widgets or ending a Live Activity through iOS.
- Deleting Tempo Aura to remove its remaining local app data.
Service providers
Tempo Aura uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's certified consent platform for conditional personalized advertising with non-personalized or limited fallback, Apple for tracking permission and App Store payment processing, and RevenueCat for purchase validation and entitlement restoration. Tempo Aura expects integrated service providers to handle information consistently with their published privacy commitments, this policy, and applicable law.
