Privacy policy

This policy explains information handling in MeasureProof for iOS and iPadOS. MeasureProof is a local-first photo measurement and field-report utility. It does not require an account, operate a MeasureProof project backend, analyse job-site photos in the cloud, or include a developer product-analytics service.

Information that stays only on your device is not available to the operator. Apple, RevenueCat, and Google may process limited information for purchases, entitlement delivery, consent-managed advertising, security, fraud prevention, measurement, delivery, and related operations described below.

MeasureProof stores project and client text, copied photos, thumbnails, manual dimensions, issue records, annotations, report layouts, preferences, backups, and generated PDFs in app-managed storage on your device. Measurement values are authored by you; MeasureProof does not infer or certify survey-grade accuracy.

The operator cannot view this project content. It leaves the app only when you deliberately export, share, or back it up to a destination you choose. iOS backups may include app-container data according to your Apple backup settings.

MeasureProof requests Camera permission only when you choose to capture a site photo. Photo import uses Apple's system picker and receives only the items you select. The app does not scan your library in the background.

Selected items are copied into MeasureProof-managed storage so annotations and reports can be reopened reliably. Deleting a managed copy does not delete an original Photos item or a file already exported elsewhere.

PDF reports are rendered on the device from the project data and files you select. MeasureProof does not upload report contents for advertising or cloud analysis. A system share or export action transfers the finished file only to the destination you choose, which then controls its storage and retention.

A portable backup can contain project text, annotations, issues, and managed photos. Treat it as private. Restoring a backup replaces applicable local records only after your confirmation and does not restore or create a paid entitlement.

Apple processes App Store payments and payment credentials. MeasureProof does not receive your card or bank details. RevenueCat provides localised product availability, purchase, entitlement, restore, and limited offline-entitlement functionality for monthly, annual, and lifetime MeasureProof Pro access.

MeasureProof configures RevenueCat without your name, email address, or a MeasureProof account. RevenueCat assigns an anonymous App User ID and may process Apple receipt data, product identifiers, purchase history, storefront, transaction and entitlement state, device or operating-system information, IP-derived information, and SDK diagnostics to provide and secure the service. Project photos, annotations, reports, and backups are not sent to RevenueCat. Automatic attribution-identifier collection is disabled.

Eligible free users may see a Google interstitial only after a changed annotation session or saved issue has completed. MeasureProof has no banner, rewarded, native, or app-open ads, requires at least five minutes before the first eligible presentation and between later attempts, and never makes project work wait for an ad. Any active MeasureProof Pro entitlement prevents ad requests and disposes of a loaded ad.

Google's User Messaging Platform requests regional choices where applicable, including in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Personalised advertising is eligible only when the applicable Google consent permits it and Apple App Tracking Transparency permission is authorised. The Google form is separate from Apple ATT.

Refusal, partial consent, ATT denial or restriction, an uncertain consent state, or an unavailable ad falls back to explicit non-personalised, limited, technical, or no-ad delivery. Refusing does not restrict any MeasureProof feature. The app does not reset consent in production or use another identifier to bypass an ATT denial.

Non-personalised advertising does not mean no Google data processing. Depending on region, device settings, provider configuration, and the installed SDK, Google may process IP-derived coarse location, device or app identifiers, advertising data, product interactions, crash data, performance data, and other diagnostics for ad delivery, frequency limits, reporting, security, fraud prevention, and SDK operation.

If you contact the operator through the MeasureProof support page, the operator receives the message and attachments you choose to send. Do not send Apple credentials, payment details, confidential client information, or unredacted job-site photos unless essential. Support correspondence is retained only as reasonably needed to respond, protect the service, resolve a dispute, or meet legal obligations.

App-controlled project records remain locally until you edit or delete them, replace local data through a confirmed restore, or remove the app. MeasureProof's safe-deletion process removes its managed records and files covered by the confirmation.

Deletion cannot remove an original Photos item, a file exported elsewhere, Apple transaction history, provider-controlled records, or data retained in an iOS backup. Deleting MeasureProof removes its app-container data subject to normal iOS and backup behaviour. Google, Apple, and RevenueCat apply their own retention and deletion policies.

Apple, RevenueCat, and Google may process information in countries other than your own under their terms, safeguards, and privacy policies.

MeasureProof is a professional field utility and is not directed to children. The app has no account or date-of-birth field and does not invent an age. If its audience or account model changes, under-age consent and advertising treatment will be reassessed before release.

MeasureProof uses iOS app storage and platform security controls, but no storage method is risk-free. Protect your device, review export destinations, remove private details from support screenshots, and keep independent copies of records you cannot afford to lose.

You can control MeasureProof information and access by:

• Using the app without a MeasureProof account.
• Declining or changing Camera and Photos permissions in iOS Settings.
• Editing, exporting, backing up, replacing, or deleting local project records.
• Reopening Google privacy options from Privacy & Data when the SDK requires them.
• Changing Apple tracking permission separately in iOS or iPadOS Settings.
• Restoring an eligible Pro purchase with the same Apple Account.
• Deleting MeasureProof to remove remaining local app-container data.

Rights concerning provider-controlled information depend on applicable law and each provider's process. Contact the operator for applicable privacy requests concerning operator-controlled support correspondence.

This policy may change when MeasureProof's features, providers, configuration, or legal obligations change. The effective date identifies the latest published version. Material changes should be reflected in the app, App Store privacy answers, public page, and release evidence before a later submission.
